Who is Eugene Lewis?

I've decided to start off my first blog letting everyone know who I really am. Born June 28, 1985 in Compton California to my loving mother Anita Williams. Until now I realized that it wasn't easy being a single mom living in what the world consider the ghetto. My mom always kept me out of trouble growing up. She played the role of both mother and father. My biological father left me when I was born, and I haven't seem him since. My mom had a boyfriend who's name I am not going to say, who after a couple of years I looked up to as my stepfather. My Grandmother passed away I believe in 1994 or 1997, and slowly the family fell apart. Growing up I was always a child who smiled until my step father passed away my first year of Highschool. My smiles slowly turned into frowns, and I expressed myself less and less. While living in the Projects I've almost been killed once, and jumped 5 times. At age 16 I seen a taxi driver get stomped out, and his car jacked. A friend I knew joined the gang P.J Watts Crips and did not make it to see his 18th birthday. After refusing to join the same gang I was threatened that I better move ( or else ). I got held back in the 11th grade and I promised my cousin E that I would graduate. He later passed away and I became drained of joy. Since his death I have had trouble smiling, but I still remained a nice guy with a big heart. A couple of months later my apartment was robbed along with my Sony PS2, t.v. And games. My mom and I soon after moved to what we believed was a better neighborhood. The crime in our new area was decreased by a little, but it still was a bad neighborhood ran by the Blood gang. If you have read this far I really appreciate it. I graduated in June 2004 after being inspired by my promise to my cousin E as well as the promise that I made to my mom. Back in those days I had curly hair. In September 2004 I decided to move to Victorville, CA and I began to shave my head. From that day forward my new life began. I hope this gives you a better understanding as to who I am.
